Tent Guide:
  Canopy, Frame or Pole?

Canopies

All of our tents can have sides and lighting installed on them for an additional charge.
Canopy tents are for setup on grass surfaces only (no driveways).   The canopies we carry will seat anywhere from 24 to 80 people per tent.

The area required for installation needs to be ten feet wider in both directions than the actual tent. For example a 20’ x 20’ canopy will require a 30’ x 30’ grass area for installation.

Customers can pick up and install canopies, most canopies can be installed by two people in 45 minutes to an hour. We offer delivery and setup on this item for an additional charge.

Frame Tents
Frame tents can be installed on almost any surface (decks, driveways, patios, etc.).  Weights (water barrels) can be used where there is no staking allowed.  These tents have no center poles and can be used in areas where there is not enough room to install a canopy.

Frame tents are delivered and installed with the exception of the 10’ x 10’ which can be picked up and installed by the customer.

Pole Tents
Pole tents are used for weddings and larger events.  The pole tents start at 20’ x 40’ and can be as large as 40’ x 200’.  Typically you need to add 15’ to the width and length on all pole tents. For example a 20’ x 40’ Pole tent requires a 35’ x 55’ area to install.

We can install pole tents on grass or asphalt as long as we can drill and patch the asphalt surface after the tent is removed. The pole tents have peaks that are 21’ in height and they have center poles that are 6” in diameter.

Site visits are required for all pole tent installations.
